Answer
Can I run Starlink Mini from a car's 12 V socket?
Starlink offers a Mini car adapter for standard automotive 12–24 V auxiliary outlets, subject to local availability. Use the supplied compatible cable and follow the accessory's instructions.
Before relying on it, check the vehicle socket's rating and whether it remains live when the ignition is off. Our practical recommendation is to test a parked setup with the actual socket and power arrangement you intend to use.
An always-on socket can draw from the vehicle battery while the engine is stopped. Do not assume the adapter protects enough starting reserve for your vehicle; follow the vehicle and power-system guidance. Permanent leisure-battery wiring needs a suitable designed installation.
Starlink says the supplied Mini adapter cable is for Mini and is not a general phone-charging cable. Powering the kit in a vehicle also does not, by itself, establish that the mount and service plan permit use while moving.
