Answer
Why do my Starlink-connected PoE cameras restart after dark?
A camera may draw more power when night-time features activate. If the switch or injector cannot supply that demand, a power problem can appear to be an internet problem.
Check whether the camera actually reboots or merely loses its remote video stream. Compare camera events with the switch's port and power logs. See whether other cameras fail at the same time and whether local recording is also interrupted.
Review the camera's maximum power requirement, the port's capability and the switch's total available budget. Test one affected camera with a suitable known-good supply and cable, following the manufacturer's instructions.
If the camera remains powered and local video continues, investigate the remote-access or internet path instead. Do not replace the Starlink kit because a camera's night mode coincides with a fault. Establish whether the interruption starts at the camera, its power source or the network.
