Answer
Can I install Starlink on a flat roof without drilling?
A suitable non-penetrating mount may avoid holes in a flat roof, but it still needs an installation design. Loose paving slabs or an improvised weighted stand are not a substitute for a mount specified for the dish, roof and exposure.
Ask the installer to check roof strength, the mount manufacturer's ballast requirements, protection of the roof membrane and clearance around drains. The arrangement must remain secure in wind without damaging the surface beneath it. Do not choose ballast weight from an unrelated online installation.
Survey the sky view before choosing the position, then plan how the cable will enter the building without creating a leak or trip hazard. Confirm how someone can inspect the installation safely afterward.
If the roof condition or loading is uncertain, get it assessed before placing equipment there. A wall or ground installation may prove easier to maintain.
