Answer
What should I inspect after the first rain following a Starlink installation?
Check the building entry and accessible indoor equipment for moisture, then compare the mount and cable route with the installation photographs. The purpose is to spot a sealing or routing issue early, before it becomes a recurring fault.
Look for water marks around the entry, a cable that channels water towards the wall, strain on connectors or movement in an accessible mount. On a flat roof, ask the installer to confirm that the arrangement has not obstructed drainage.
Do not climb onto a wet roof or unplug wet electrical connections to investigate. If water has reached powered equipment, stop using the affected equipment and arrange safe professional attention.
Record where and when the moisture appeared and send clear photographs to the installer. If the connection dropped during rain but there is no visible ingress, also record app events; a weather interruption and a leaking installation are different problems requiring different responses.
