Answer
How do I protect Starlink cables at a temporary worksite?
Choose the cable route before work begins. Keep it away from vehicle movements, cutting equipment, sharp edges and doors, and avoid creating a crossing that people must step over repeatedly.
Where a crossing is unavoidable, the site organiser should provide protection suitable for the expected traffic. A light domestic cable cover is not automatically suitable for vehicles or heavy equipment. Protect connectors from dirt, water and pulling, and secure the route without crushing the cable.
Keep the dish and power equipment in a designated area with a clear sky view and appropriate ventilation. Label the power connection so someone does not unplug it to use another tool.
Inspect the accessible route at the start of each day and after machinery or materials move. If damage appears, isolate the affected equipment safely and replace the damaged component. Do not continue using a cable simply because the internet still works.
