Answer
Should I extend the dish cable or the indoor Ethernet cable?
Identify which cable needs to travel farther before buying anything. The cable between the dish and its power equipment can carry both data and power and must meet your kit's requirements. Ordinary downstream Ethernet serves a different purpose.
If the real goal is to reach a distant room, it may be simpler to keep the approved dish-to-power arrangement and extend the local network from an appropriate LAN connection. A wired access point can then provide Wi-Fi where it is needed.
Measure the actual route around corners and through entries, including service slack. Check the exact hardware's cable options and limits rather than copying a length from another Starlink generation.
Avoid adding an unapproved coupler to a powered dish cable. For routes outdoors or between buildings, the installer should also consider moisture, electrical protection and whether fibre is a more suitable network link. Test the cable before it becomes inaccessible.
