Answer
Will changing my Starlink Wi-Fi password also change my account password?
No. Your Wi-Fi password lets a device join your local wireless network; your Starlink account credentials control access to the account. Treat them as separate credentials and use different, strong passwords.
Change the Wi-Fi password on the router that actually broadcasts the network. If a separate mesh system provides Wi-Fi, changing a setting elsewhere may not remove access to that mesh network.
Before changing it, list devices that need reconnecting, especially cameras, heating controls and equipment at an unattended property. Reconnect a phone and computer first, then work through the list and update any guest QR codes.
If you suspect someone knows your account password, address that separately through the official account and review its recovery details and available security controls. Removing a device from Wi-Fi is not the same as removing somebody's ability to sign into the account.
