Answer
What Wi-Fi instructions should I leave for holiday-rental guests?
Leave the guest network name, password and a short troubleshooting note in an easy-to-find place. Include where coverage is best, how guests can contact you and what to do if several devices lose access together.
Keep the instructions focused on normal use. Guests should not need the Starlink account password, router administration access or instructions for factory-resetting the system. Ask them to report the time and affected devices rather than repeatedly unplugging equipment.
If you provide a Wi-Fi QR code, confirm it joins the intended guest network and update it whenever the password changes. Keep the main household or staff network separate where the equipment supports it, and test that separation.
Before each arrival, check coverage in bedrooms and work areas, and confirm that any rental TV or casting arrangement works with the chosen network design. Also verify that the service plan permits the property's intended use.
