Answer
Are all Starlink cables and power supplies weatherproof?
No. Weather resistance depends on the exact component, its model and how it is installed. An outdoor-rated dish does not mean that every router, power supply, adapter or extension lead can be left exposed.
Check the specifications for each part of your kit. Ratings can depend on using the correct cable and fully sealing the connection. For example, Starlink Mini's specifications distinguish between its sealed connection arrangement and use of a standard RJ45 Ethernet cable; do not assume both provide the same protection.
Keep equipment within its stated operating conditions. Route cables so water does not collect at entries, protect them from crushing and strain, and use the specified weather seals. Improvised tape or an enclosure without suitable ventilation may create another problem rather than solve it.
Inspect accessible connections after storms without working on live, wet or damaged equipment. Follow the manufacturer's disconnection and drying instructions before reconnecting.
If you need to put a power supply outside or pass a cable through a building, have the mounting, weatherproofing and electrical arrangement checked by a competent installer.
