Answer
Can I use Starlink Roam in another country?
Check the specific plan and each destination before travelling. “Roam” does not mean unrestricted use in every country for any length of time.
The current service descriptions distinguish between Roam offers: some GB-labelled plans are restricted to the registered country, while the described Roam Unlimited offer has conditional international use. Do not apply one plan's permission to another.
Before departure, verify:
- Active coverage and authorisation in every country.
- Whether your plan permits that destination.
- The permitted duration abroad.
- Any identity or account-verification requirement.
- Whether changing country affects registration, charges or hardware eligibility.
- The rules for land, coastal water and ocean use.
Save the relevant terms and have a fallback connection for the journey. Recheck shortly before departure because permissions and offers can change.
Our recommendation is to resolve uncertainty with Starlink before leaving, especially for extended stays. Another traveller's successful connection is not evidence that your own subscription permits the same itinerary.
