Answer
Can I resume Starlink Roam at a campsite with no mobile signal?
Starlink describes Standby Mode as supporting account access and reactivation in mobile dead zones, including email-based verification. That does not mean every cancelled or inactive kit has the same capability.
Before departure, confirm whether your service is in Standby Mode or cancelled, check access to your email and account, and review the charge shown for resuming. Our recommendation is to complete a trial while another connection is still available.
At the campsite, set up the dish and power correctly, connect to its local network and follow the account's supported resume process. Keep the equipment powered while the change completes.
Do not assume a stored password is enough if verification will be needed. If the account or kit cannot provide the expected access, use a working alternative connection to resolve it. Resume before an important work session rather than at its start.
