Answer
Can I use Starlink Roam abroad for longer than two months?
Do not assume ordinary roaming permissions cover an indefinite stay. Starlink's international Roam guidance says that after more than two months in another country you may need to update the registered location or transfer the account, and service may be restricted if you do not.
Check the current rules for the account country, destination and exact plan before a long trip. Our planning recommendation is to give support the actual dates and destination rather than asking only whether “Europe” is covered.
A border crossing should not be treated as a guaranteed workaround for duration limits. Nor does the physical presence of satellites establish that the service is authorised in every destination.
For a permanent move, follow the country-transfer process rather than repeatedly changing unrelated address fields. Save offline instructions and arrange a fallback before a long stay where your work depends on connectivity.
