Does a Starlink subscription include Netflix, television channels or streaming apps?
Treat Starlink as the internet connection for your streaming devices, not as a television subscription. Services such as Netflix have their own accounts, plans and supported devices. Do not assume that buying a dish includes those memberships or a television package.
Our budgeting checklist is to list each service you watch, its recurring charge and how you currently receive it. A smart TV app uses internet access; equipment relying on a different television platform may still need that platform's hardware or subscription.
Before ending an old broadband bundle, check which television benefits depend on it. Test the apps you intend to retain on Starlink and sign in using their existing accounts where permitted.
Keep age restrictions and purchase controls enabled on the streaming accounts. Changing the internet provider does not automatically configure family profiles or prevent in-app purchases.
