A wall mount can be a practical Starlink option when it gives the dish a clear view without the access risks of a roof installation.
Confirm the wall and view
Ask the installer to assess the wall construction, fixing points and the obstruction check together. A solid wall is not enough if nearby trees or roof lines block the dish’s field of view.
Agree protection from weather
Discuss suitable external fixings, weatherproofing and how the cable will enter the building. The finished route should avoid sharp edges, doors, standing water and exposed loops.
Plan for maintenance
The dish should be secure but not impossible to inspect safely later. Ask how any future cable or hardware work would be completed without unsafe access.
