How to Choose a Starlink Installer: Questions to Ask First
Starlink Installers
Hiring an installer can make a Starlink installation safer and more straightforward, especially for roof work, high cable runs or a complex property.
Ask about the exact scope
Describe the proposed dish location, mounting surface, cable route, router location and whether you need internal networking work. Ask for the scope in writing, including what is excluded.
Check relevant experience and cover
Look for suitable experience in safe roof, wall or mast work and ask about insurance appropriate to the job. A reputable installer should be comfortable explaining their approach, access plan and materials.
Agree the finish standard
Discuss weatherproofing, cable protection, tidy routing, fixings, testing and clean-up before work starts. Ensure you understand who supplies any extra mount, cable or networking hardware.
Keep the decision yours
Use the Starlink app’s obstruction check to agree the location, but do not pressure anyone into unsafe access just to chase a better view.
