The real-world result
The most important part of my Starlink setup is not the mast, router or plan: it is the unobstructed view of the sky. The Starlink app reports a clear view at my installation, and that is central to the strong, stable result I experience.
Trees, rooflines, chimneys and nearby buildings can interrupt the path to satellites. A position that appears open from the ground may still contain an obstruction in the part of the sky Starlink needs.

What I learned
Use the app before committing to a mount. Try the intended height and direction, at a time when nearby trees and structures can be assessed properly. If one place shows an obstruction, test another rather than assuming more height is always the answer.
What I would do before copying this approach
A simple, secure mount with a clean sky view is better than an elaborate installation that still looks through branches or buildings.
