The real-world result
After six months, Starlink has been close to perfect for my rural setup. I moved from roughly 22 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up on the previous connection to recorded Starlink results of 359 Mbps down, 43 Mbps up and 19 ms latency.
The change was not magic: it required a proper installation and a fully unobstructed view of the sky. Those two factors are more important than repeating anyone else’s speed test.

What I learned
I have experienced no noticeable throttling or slowdown in ordinary use. That is my experience, not a guarantee; your result will depend on address, plan, network conditions, Wi-Fi and the dish position.
What I would do before copying this approach
My honest conclusion is that Starlink makes most sense where fixed broadband is inadequate or where independence from the local network has real value. If you already have excellent fibre at a lower cost, the decision is less obvious.
