The real-world result
I would not recommend Starlink simply because my own result is strong. I would first check availability at the address, a completely clear view of the sky, a safe and secure mounting position, a sensible cable route and a plan that suits the household.
My setup works well because the Starlink app shows no obstructions and the mast is stable. Another property may not need a mast at all; the correct solution is the lowest-risk installation that achieves the required sky view.

What I learned
Before ordering, identify where the router will sit, whether Wi-Fi will reach the rooms that matter, and how you will test the connection in the first week. Keep the first installation simple enough to adjust if the app identifies an issue.
What I would do before copying this approach
Finally, compare the real problem Starlink solves against the total cost. It can be transformational for poor rural broadband, but it should be chosen because it suits the property and use case—not because a headline speed test looks impressive.
