Check for router power and lights

Confirm the power connection is secure and that the router is not overheated or hidden in a cramped, unventilated space. Check whether the network appears from a phone standing close by.

Rule out one-device problems

Try another phone or laptop. If only one device cannot see the network, restart that device and review its Wi-Fi settings before changing the Starlink equipment.

Restart once and give it time

Use the Starlink app if you can. A single measured restart is better than several quick power cycles. Wait for the network to return fully before changing names, passwords or factory settings.

Reset only as a last resort

A factory reset can mean reconnecting every device. Check current official support steps and record your existing network information before using one.
