How to Set Up a Guest Wi-Fi Network on Starlink

A guest network is a simple way to share internet access without handing out the password for every device in your home.
Why separate guest access helps
Visitors only need internet access, not visibility of your printers, computers, cameras or smart-home devices. A separate network also makes it easier to change a shared password without reconnecting everything you own.
Use the Starlink app settings
Open the Wi-Fi or network settings in the Starlink app and look for the available guest-network option for your router and software version. Give it a clear name that does not reveal personal information, then use a long, unique password.
Keep the main network private
Do not reuse the primary Wi-Fi password for guests. If you run your own router alongside Starlink equipment, use its guest-network feature and make sure the management password is also strong.
Review it occasionally
Remove or change access when you no longer need it, particularly after short-term guests or contractors. Keep router software current so security improvements are applied.
