Software updates can improve features, reliability or compatibility, but they cannot fix a blocked sky view, damaged cable or weak Wi-Fi location.
Let routine updates happen
Keep the system powered and connected as normally as possible so it can receive updates. Avoid repeatedly restarting equipment during a normal update window.
Check the app after a problem
If behaviour changes, look for app messages, service alerts and the current connection state. Note the time and symptoms before changing settings.
Separate software from installation issues
Obstructions, unsafe cable routes, loose accessible connections and poor router placement need their own remedy. A new software version should not distract from a visible physical cause.
