Can I choose when Starlink installs a software update?

Starlink's current help guidance lets you choose a restart window for installing software updates in the app: open Settings, select Starlink, then Software Updates. The listed windows are Overnight, Morning, Afternoon and Evening.

Choose a window that avoids your important work or regular calls, and check the options displayed for your equipment and account. A restart window is not a promise of an exact appointment or a way to select a particular firmware release. Rollout timing can vary.

Keep the Starlink app current. If your interface differs, consult the current help article or support rather than repeatedly power-cycling the kit to force an update. Special business or enterprise controls should not be assumed to apply to every account.
