Starlink just quietly changed the rules and a lot of users don’t realize their connection can now be cut off depending on speed, movement, and location. Today we break down the latest Starlink Terms of Service (TOS) changes, including the new speed limits, roaming restrictions, and in-motion usage policies that can affect you. Starlink users in RVs, trucks, vans, boats, off-grid setups, and even aircraft. Starlink hardware is no longer “dumb internet equipment.” The system can now track speed, altitude, and location to determine whether your connection should remain active, be slowed down, or be completely shut off.
