Starlink Is Online but Your Devices Have No Internet

Troubleshooting & Fixes

Back to Troubleshooting & Fixes

If the Starlink app shows the service online but one or more devices cannot browse, the issue is often local Wi-Fi rather than the dish itself.

Find out how wide the problem is

Test a second device near the router. If it works, focus on the affected device: reconnect it to Wi-Fi, check airplane mode/VPN settings and restart it if necessary.

Check the Wi-Fi connection, not just the name

Make sure the device is connected to the intended network and has not switched to a weak guest, extender or mobile connection. Forgetting and rejoining the network can resolve a saved-password or address issue.

Restart in the right order

Restart the affected device first. Only restart the router if several devices fail and the app indicates the Starlink side is healthy. Then allow time for Wi-Fi to return.

Review added hardware

If you use your own router, switches or mesh equipment, test a simple direct connection path where practical. One recently changed setting can affect every device.
