Start with your exact address
Starlink availability is address-specific. Enter the address where the service will be used on Starlink’s official availability page before comparing plans or paying for equipment. This shows whether service is available now, whether an area has limited capacity, and the current equipment and installation offer.
Do not assume that a neighbour’s result, a postcode-level advert or a previous visit to the checkout still applies to your address. Network capacity and offers can change.
Check the installation before buying
A suitable position needs a clear view of the sky. Use the Starlink app’s obstruction tool at the proposed dish location and test more than one position if trees, chimneys or rooflines are nearby. A clear result matters more than whether the dish is mounted high.
Make a simple route plan for the cable, router and power supply. Check that the dish can be secured safely and that the cable will not create a trip hazard, pinch point or water-entry route.
Compare only the plans displayed to you
Choose according to how and where you will use the service:
- Residential is normally for a fixed home address.
- Roam is designed for portable use, subject to the current regional rules.
- Priority or business options may suit demanding business, maritime or specialist use.
