Choose the mounting type after checking the sky view, not before. A ground mount can be the simplest and safest solution when it has a clear view of the sky and can be secured away from damage.
Work in this order
Use a wall or roof position only when it improves the view enough to justify the added access, structural and cable-routing work. Higher is not automatically better; the goal is an unobstructed result in the Starlink app.
